On the occasion of the 30th Annual Congress of the ECSS, the Department for Life Quality Studies of the University of Bologna is organising a public lecture to introduce citizens to sport science.
"How Science Helps Win in Sport" is an event designed to show sports enthusiasts, coaches, athletes and curious minds how scientific research contributes to improving athletic performance, optimising training and preserving athlete health.
During the event, internationally recognised researchers and sports professionals will explain - through practical examples and accessible language - what sport sciences are and how they are applied in two sports where Italy excels at the global level: cycling and swimming.
